THIS IS LEVEL 4
ARMOR EXPRESS QUAD COMPLIANCE “Quad Compliance” is given only to our ballistic armor packages that have been put through the rigors of four unique levels of testing protocol. To be considered a Quad Compliant vest, our armor must be an NIJ 0101.06 Certified package, put through Armor Express Special Threat Testing, and be both DEA Armor Testing Protocol Compliant and subjected to the FBI Body Armor Test Protocol.
NIJ 0101.06 CERTIFIED Quad Compliant armor must be certified by the National Institute of Justice as a level IIIA package.
FBI TESTING Quad Compliant armor must be in adherence with the strict FBI Body Armor Testing Protocol established by the FBI Defensive Systems Special Unit.
DEA PROTOCOL Quad Compliant armor must pass the DEA Armor Testing Protocol set forth by the DEA Firearms Training Unit.
AE SPECIAL THREATS Quad Compliant armor must be tested to numerous common & rare special threats identified by our Armor Express ballistic engineers

Soft armor is usually made of a fabric-like material with extreme strength such as Kevlar, Spectra, Twaron, and so on. Soft armor can come in many shapes and forms, but it is most commonly worn as a vest. Although it is flexible and easy-to-wear, soft body armor is not as strong as its hard counterpart.
This is the highest rating of body armor currently available, and it will stop armor piercing rifle threats! Level IV armor withstands up to 30-06 M2ap steel core armor piercing rounds with a mass of 166 grains and a velocity of 2880 ft/s.
Kevlar, steel and Polyethylene (PE) are the most used materials in the manufacture of body armor. Kevlar and PE are mainly used to make soft body armor, while steel and ceramic are used to make hard body armour.
